Key responsibilities include enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining backend services for AI agentic workflows. You will build scalable REST APIs using FastAPI, develop and troubleshoot multi-step agent workflows with LangGraph, and identify automation opportunities across AI applications. Additionally, you will containerize and deploy services using Docker and Docker Compose, write high-quality Python code with robust unit tests, and manage database schemas for MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Investigating performance issues across systems will also be a critical part of the role.

To excel in this role, a degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science is required. Core Python proficiency, including a strong grasp of data structures (Lists, Dictionaries, Tuples, Sets) and OOP principles, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate experience in writing modular, performant code with strong profiling and debugging skills. Familiarity with virtual environments, dependency management, and unit testing is expected. Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL schema design is crucial.

Proven experience building production APIs with FastAPI, including proficiency in async/await, Pydantic models, and token-based authentication, is necessary. Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, YAML configurations, and container networking is also required. Experience building multi-step agent workflows using LangGraph, managing conversation state, context propagation, retries, and fallbacks, along with strong debugging capabilities for agent failures, will set you apart.
