Join EY as a Manager in the TechOps practice, focusing on Digital Engineering Operations and Platform Engineering. This role is pivotal in managing the development and delivery of tools and platform solutions designed to enhance application performance, boost engineer productivity, and drive automation. You will lead the identification, development, and operationalization of these solutions, ensuring they align with EY's high standards of quality and client expectations.

Drive the discovery, development, and management of tools and platform capabilities to empower operations engineers, reduce manual effort, and enhance productivity. Establish self-service platforms to foster engineer autonomy and define optimal workflows.

Design and implement sophisticated dashboards, logging, and alerting systems using industry-leading tools. Manage observability for cloud-native and hybrid environments, driving automation within CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools. Integrate Cloud, AI/ML, automation, DevSecOps, ITSM, and observability into a cohesive managed services ecosystem.

Architect and integrate end-to-end toolchains across various layers including Cloud & DevSecOps, Data & AI, Automation, ITSM & AIOps, and Security. Monitor production performance against SLAs/KPIs, lead incident resolution, and manage on-call rotations. Maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures while overseeing daily operations.

Define SLAs, SLOs, OLAs, service catalogs, and automation backlogs. Guide service onboarding, knowledge transfer, runbook creation, and CMDB population. Increase automation coverage and reduce Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR) through self-healing and AIOps. Mentor junior engineers in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. Collaborate with diverse teams to drive transformation and ensure adherence to EY's risk and security standards.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess 10-12 years of experience in engineering delivery or managed services, with a significant portion (2-5 years) dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing engineering platforms and tools.

Expert knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong experience in public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, and automation tools, coupled with robust programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for custom automation.

A deep understanding of SLIs, SLOs, distributed tracing, and log management is crucial. Experience in building and implementing tools, automation, and AI solutions within digital engineering contexts is highly valued. A proven track record in managing delivery quality, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration is expected, alongside a strong grasp of ITSM, ITIL, product engineering, and agile methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are key attributes for success.
