Design, develop, and deploy enterprise API and integration solutions using IBM API Connect and DataPower. Secure and manage REST and SOAP APIs, developing GatewayScript, XSLT, and XPath for complex integrations. Architect scalable integration solutions for cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises environments. Implement robust API security, authentication, authorization, and governance policies. Deploy and support APIC and DataPower within OpenShift and containerized setups. Integrate diverse enterprise applications, including financial, payment, and third-party systems. Conduct code and design reviews to uphold platform standards. Troubleshoot production issues across APIs, middleware, networking, and application integrations. Support automated deployment pipelines and DevOps initiatives. Participate in on-call production support. Make critical decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team performance to achieve organizational goals.

A strong background in IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower Gateway platforms is essential. You should have extensive experience with REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, WSDL, XSD, XPath, XSLT, and Gateway Script. A solid understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, and security best practices is required, including experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and mTLS. Familiarity with OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes concepts, and CI/CD implementation using tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps is necessary. Proven experience in production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning is also key. Experience with IBM MQ integration and messaging patterns is advantageous. Knowledge of high-availability, resilient system design, and exposure to event-driven and microservices architectures are highly valued.
