As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator within our Global Delivery Services, you will be instrumental in ensuring the robust, secure, and efficient operation of critical Oracle database platforms. This role blends hands-on administration with engineering, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management, fostering collaboration across application, infrastructure, and security teams.

You will be accountable for the full lifecycle of operational database activities, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance optimization, backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades. Key responsibilities include managing database instances, schemas, storage, and connectivity according to established standards. You will also be responsible for planning and executing database maintenance, refreshes, and security implementations, including user administration, encryption, and vulnerability remediation. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and operation of high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, while maintaining comprehensive operational documentation and supporting incident and change management processes.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of comprehensive experience in Oracle database administration for enterprise environments. Proven expertise in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and optimization is essential. Strong practical experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, and database monitoring is required. Familiarity with supporting business-critical applications, including those in regulated sectors, is advantageous. Experience with database refreshes, migrations, vulnerability analysis, and establishing audit mechanisms is expected. A mandatory Oracle Certified Professional for Oracle Database 12c and/or 19c is required. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
