We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead or Architect to spearhead large-scale data migration programs. Your expertise in open-source data technologies and modern data engineering ecosystems will be crucial for success. Proven experience with migration projects in Government, Public Sector, or enterprise environments is essential. This role demands end-to-end ownership, from strategy and execution to validation, governance, and stakeholder management, ensuring data quality, security, and business continuity throughout the process.

As a Data Migration Specialist, you will plan, design, and execute complex data migration programs for critical enterprise systems. You will be responsible for the entire migration lifecycle, including strategy development, execution, data validation, and robust governance.

Your role involves ensuring data quality, security, and compliance at every stage. Effective stakeholder management and maintaining business continuity are also key aspects of this position. You will leverage your expertise in open-source data technologies and modern data engineering frameworks to drive successful transformations.

A minimum of 10-12 years of experience is required in planning, designing, and executing large-scale data migration programs. Demonstrated success in projects within Government, Public Sector, e-Governance, or significant enterprise transformations is essential.

Proficiency is expected in open-source data technologies, data engineering frameworks, and various migration methodologies. Experience migrating substantial datasets, including citizen, financial, or e-governance data, is vital. A strong grasp of data transformation, integration, validation, reconciliation, and migration governance is necessary.

This role also requires the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver critical migration programs within demanding timelines. Expertise in specific technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Python, SQL, Linux, AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes is expected.
