Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Senior Consultant specializing in AI Engineering. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI-assisted developer productivity solutions.

You will leverage deep expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents to enhance code intelligence and enterprise AI platforms.

The position is crucial for developing production-grade AI systems within regulated environments and requires a strong understanding of secure AI adoption strategies.

Architect and implement AI-powered coding assistants that improve developer workflows. Fine-tune foundation models and build retrieval-augmented systems over enterprise codebases. Enable secure AI adoption in sovereign, on-premises, and air-gapped environments, addressing India-specific data regulations. Evaluate AI coding assistants for accuracy, latency, cost, and IDE coverage. Design reference architectures for enterprise code-AI, including secure, isolated deployments.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with LLM/generative-AI systems in production is required. Demonstrated experience deploying AI developer tooling in regulated sectors such as BFSI, government, defence, or healthcare. Familiarity with sovereign/air-gapped AI, and on-premise Ollama/vLLM clusters is essential. Understanding of India-specific data privacy concerns, including the DPDP Act 2023 and MeitY/CERT-In guidelines, is highly valued.
