Join our Technology & Transformation team as a Senior SAP FPSL Consultant in Mumbai. You will play a pivotal role in driving functional discovery and translating complex business needs into effective SAP FPSL solutions.

This role is essential for enhancing our enterprise technology capabilities, ensuring functional excellence, and supporting innovation for long-term growth. We are seeking a proactive individual who can analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the future SAP FPSL model.

Lead comprehensive functional discovery workshops, meticulously documenting order management processes, rules, and integrations. Translate intricate business requirements into precise functional specifications and acceptance criteria.

Analyze existing processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement aligned with the future SAP FPSL model. Collaborate closely with architects and integration teams to define design impacts and dependencies. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, ensuring clarity on test scenarios, expected results, and sign-off procedures. Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and mentor junior team members.

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or SAP Finance transformations is essential. You should possess over 4 years of direct experience with SAP FPSL implementations, support, or enhancement projects. A strong grasp of insurance business processes, including premiums, claims, investments, reserves, and policy lifecycles, is required.

Proficiency in Ind AS, with proven ability to validate FPSL accounting outputs, journal entries, subledger balances, and conduct General Ledger reconciliations. Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance integration and its related finance architecture is crucial. You must be adept at translating accounting and reporting mandates into actionable FPSL configuration and solution designs. Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, go-live support, and finance process testing is expected. Strong stakeholder engagement skills for effective collaboration with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and IT departments are vital. While not mandatory, professional qualifications like CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent, along with exposure to Ind AS 117/IFRS 17 and SAP TRM or SAP PaPM, are considered advantageous.
