This role focuses on supporting excise-sector reforms and revenue augmentation for a significant government assignment. You will be instrumental in conducting research, analyzing data, benchmarking, and providing expert advisory services. The position involves assessing market, operational, supply-chain, infrastructure, and technology needs, culminating in the preparation of analytical outputs and client-ready deliverables.

Key contributions include:

- Analyzing wholesale and retail liquor markets, including sales, revenue, and licensing trends. - Evaluating excise-sector data encompassing revenue, pricing, margins, and sales. - Assessing procurement, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations. - Benchmarking excise policies, institutional models, and revenue practices across various regions. - Identifying opportunities for compliance, monitoring, digital solutions, and revenue leakage reduction. - Conducting policy research and developing analytical notes, presentations, and implementation plans. - Supporting stakeholder consultations and documenting findings. - Coordinating with government bodies and internal teams for data collection and analysis.

We are seeking individuals with a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.

A minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience is required, with expertise in research, data analysis, operations, supply chain, digital transformation, or government consulting. Experience with government or PSU assignments is highly preferred. Prior consulting or professional services experience would be advantageous. Familiarity with Tamil Nadu and/or Puducherry's administrative and market environment is a plus.

Essential skills include strong report writing, presentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities. Proficiency in the Tamil language is mandatory. A willingness to work at the client location and travel as needed is expected.
