Join Deloitte's Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) team in Delhi as an Associate Director, Program Manager for Infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in guiding companies through complex industry shifts, focusing on digital transformation, sustainability, and workforce development. Leverage your expertise across oil and gas, power, renewables, mining, and industrial products sectors to solve key business challenges.

This role involves collaborating with various institutions to address significant business problems within a dynamic industry landscape.

Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive infrastructure project execution, encompassing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, transportation, industrial, power, water, and urban sectors. Develop detailed strategies for project planning, construction methodologies, resource allocation, and timelines.

Manage project delivery to meet defined scope, budget, quality, and schedule objectives. Establish robust project governance, reporting, and performance monitoring systems. Utilize Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for schedule development and oversight, actively tracking progress and implementing recovery plans. Oversee budget management, forecasting, cash flow, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Handle EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, PMC, and construction contracts. Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and procurement to ensure seamless execution. Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Support tendering processes, bid evaluations, estimations, and contract administration.

Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal leadership. Conduct project reviews and provide timely updates to senior management. Proactively resolve project issues while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Identify and mitigate project risks across schedule, cost, construction, procurement, safety, and regulatory approvals. Uphold quality standards, engineering specifications, and statutory requirements. Champion a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture and oversee commissioning and project handover activities.

Lead diverse teams including engineering, construction, planning, procurement, commercial, and HSE professionals. Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor team members and support their professional growth.

Qualifications

A minimum of 15 years of experience is required in managing the construction and delivery of large-scale infrastructure or capital projects. Proven expertise in project planning, execution, design coordination, tendering, estimation, and construction management is essential.

Demonstrate strong proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Possess an excellent understanding of EPC/EPCM project delivery models and construction contracts. Essential skills include robust stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership capabilities, alongside excellent communication and presentation abilities.
