As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based data solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build modern data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms that underpin enterprise digital transformation efforts.

Your work will involve implementing and managing data engineering tools, ensuring data quality, and maintaining efficient data modeling practices. You will also play a key role in optimizing cloud resource utilization and ensuring security best practices are followed.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience, demonstrating strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Essential skills include DBT (Data Build Tool) and Airflow for data pipeline orchestration and management. Proficiency in BigQuery, including optimization and cost management, is crucial.

Key technical competencies include data pipeline development, advanced SQL, DBT Cloud functionalities (models, SCDs, tests, macros), and Airflow workflow development. Experience with version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is highly valued. A solid understanding of data modeling principles and cloud security best practices is also expected.
