As a Java Developer, you will leverage your expertise across multiple project phases, from initial design and implementation to optimization and ongoing support. You will design and develop high-quality, cloud-ready microservices utilizing open-source technologies. Following Agile methodologies and best practices, you will collaborate with external vendors as needed and own tasks end-to-end, including deployment.

Key responsibilities include providing expertise in Java development, designing and implementing microservices, adhering to Agile development processes, liaising with vendors, and taking ownership from design to deployment. Experience with Kafka is a mandatory requirement.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with qualifications such as B.E, B.Tech, BCA, or MCA. The role demands 6+ years of hands-on development experience with in-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus, and ideally front-end technologies like Angular or React JS. Essential skills include Java, SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus, RESTful web services, HTML, CSS, Flink, Kafka, and MQ.

Candidates should possess excellent engineering skills for designing and implementing scalable solutions, strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD), and robust communication skills with a strong sense of ownership. Exposure to Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservices is highly desirable. Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for solution development, deployment, and adoption of IaaS/PaaS offerings is also beneficial. Proficiency in PL/SQL, database development, J2EE, and OOPS Design Patterns is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial, as is the ability to work independently and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, an ownership mindset, and a production-first approach are expected. You will act as a technical expert, individual contributor, and drive best practices while mentoring junior engineers and influencing design and architecture decisions.
