As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both UI and API testing, with a preference for Playwright. You will create and execute comprehensive UI (Web) and API automation test suites. Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements to identify automation opportunities, maintaining and debugging scripts for optimal stability and scalability, and integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Your role will also involve collaborating closely with product, development, and QA teams. You will participate in test planning, estimation, and contribute to the overall automation strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting, tracking, and validating defects, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 3-6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Essential skills include strong hands-on experience in UI and API automation testing, with Playwright being a preferred tool. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is required.

Solid experience with SQL and database testing, including working with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, is crucial. Candidates must have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and strong proficiency in version control systems like Git. Familiarity with test case design, identification for automation, and script maintenance/optimization is also necessary, along with a good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
