This role focuses on architecting and delivering AI-native Oracle solutions. The Technology Platform Engineer will build and run bespoke AI applications and agents on OCI, tailored to specific customer data and Oracle Order Management processes. This involves creating production and non-production cloud environments and automating the deployment pipeline.

The position requires a strong engineering background within the Oracle Order Management domain to ensure AI outputs are grounded in relevant process and data contexts. Candidates will leverage OCI AI services and Oracle data platforms to augment existing Oracle Order Management scenarios.

Key responsibilities include designing and building custom Oracle AI solutions, implementing RAG/agent patterns from ingestion to grounded generation with citations. Candidates will define evaluation and quality gates, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for production readiness. This role also entails engineering secure-by-design deployments using OCI IAM policies, network isolation, and secrets management. Operating AI in production involves managing SLOs, monitoring performance, and developing incident playbooks for continuous optimization.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a preference for 2-5 years. Essential skills include Oracle Order Management, OCI Generative AI/Data Science foundations, vector databases, embeddings, and Oracle data integration and governance. Proficiency in LLMOps, including prompt/version control, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and FinOps cost controls, is crucial. The candidate should also possess strong engineering capabilities within the Oracle Order Management domain to effectively ground AI outputs. Experience in taking Proofs of Concept to production with robust governance and reliability is expected.
