This role focuses on architecting and deploying AI-native Oracle solutions, specifically building and running bespoke AI applications and agents on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The solutions will be tailored to customer data and Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Compensation processes, aiming to enhance existing scenarios.

The core objective is to create custom AI solutions that leverage OCI AI services and Oracle data platforms. This involves implementing end-to-end Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent patterns, ensuring secure deployments, and managing AI operations in production environments for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

Design and construct custom Oracle AI solutions to augment Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Compensation scenarios using OCI AI services and data platforms. Implement RAG/agent patterns from ingestion and embedding to vector search and grounded generation with citations. Define and integrate evaluation metrics and quality gates, including grounding checks and regression tests, into CI/CD pipelines. Engineer secure deployments using OCI IAM policies, network isolation, secrets management, and audit logging for production readiness. Manage AI in production by defining SLOs, implementing monitoring for latency, errors, and costs, creating incident playbooks, and performing continuous optimization.

Requires a strong foundation in OCI Generative AI and Data Science, including vector databases and embeddings. Proficiency in Oracle data integration and governance, encompassing PII classification, access control, and lineage. Demonstrated engineering expertise within the Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Compensation domain to ensure AI outputs are grounded in Oracle processes and data. Experience with LLMOps, covering prompt/version control, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and FinOps cost controls. Ability to transition Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to production with robust governance and reliability is essential.
