This position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and leverage your expertise in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD integration.

Design, develop, and maintain robust Playwright-based automation frameworks for web applications. Write automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript for various test types, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios. Create reusable automation components, utilities, and fixtures, along with effective test-data management solutions. Perform API automation and validation using tools like Playwright and Postman. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Implement advanced features such as parallel execution, cross-browser testing, retries, reporting, and optimization strategies. Analyze business and functional requirements to determine appropriate automation coverage. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to enhance application testability and overall quality. Troubleshoot automation failures, pinpoint root causes, and differentiate between application defects and framework/environment issues. Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for automation coding standards. Track and manage defects, working with development teams towards resolution. Monitor automation results, test coverage, defect trends, and key quality metrics. Mentor junior and mid-level automation engineers, providing technical guidance. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, release planning, and production readiness activities.

A minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, and Test Automation is required. Possess at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern web automation techniques. Demonstrate 4+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level test automation frameworks. Have 3+ years of experience with API automation, CI/CD integration, and automated regression testing. Proficiency in core technical skills including Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, API Testing (Playwright API, Postman, REST APIs), functional/regression/integration/E2E/smoke testing, framework development (Page Object Model, Fixtures, Reusable Components, Data-Driven Testing), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab), defect management (Jira, Azure DevOps), and databases (SQL for backend validation).
