NTT DATA seeks a dedicated Technology Consultant specializing in Functional Test Engineering. This role is crucial for validating business-critical applications and ensuring software quality aligns with requirements.

You'll collaborate extensively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to pinpoint defects and champion high-quality software delivery within an agile framework. Execute comprehensive manual test scripts and end-to-end user workflows within production-like environments. Develop precise test scenarios and test cases by meticulously reviewing business requirements and user stories. Conduct thorough functional testing to confirm application behavior meets defined business needs.

Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence. Perform regression testing to safeguard existing functionality after application updates. Validate integrated business processes and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Support UAT and release validation activities, contributing to production readiness.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and Software Quality Assurance is required. You should also have 3+ years of experience in developing and executing test cases, scenarios, and end-to-end business workflow testing.

Additionally, 2+ years of experience with defect management, regression testing, and validating requirements and acceptance criteria is necessary. Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, or ALM is essential for this role.
