Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Data Modeler in Mumbai. This role is pivotal in assessing, rationalizing, and modernizing Data Warehouse (DWH) platforms. You will analyze source systems and existing data warehouses to create enterprise-aligned data models that support migration and future-state architecture.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days a week in the client office.

Develop and maintain Conceptual and Logical Data Models, identifying enterprise entities, attributes, and relationships. Support data model rationalization, analyze source systems, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business rules. You will also work closely with ETL, database, and architecture teams to validate data structures and review source-to-target mappings. Prepare comprehensive data dictionaries, entity catalogues, and relationship documentation, while also participating in data model reviews and stakeholder workshops.

We seek candidates with strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases is essential, along with experience developing scalable data warehouse solutions using Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c, Exadata). Familiarity with data lineage, STTM, ETL processes, and data integration concepts is required. Strong analytical and documentation skills are also key. Experience in large-scale Data Warehouse modernization or migration projects is highly valued, as is knowledge of data governance and metadata management. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
