Seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer or Senior QA Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our Testing Services team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across all Birlasoft offices in India.

As a key member of our team, you will focus on ensuring the quality and performance of our microservices and payment systems through robust automation strategies. Your expertise in API testing and automation frameworks will be crucial in this role.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining effective API automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand microservices architecture and create comprehensive test cases. Additionally, you will be responsible for validating data streaming pipelines and event triggers, particularly using Apache Kafka. Active participation in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews is expected.

Ideal candidates possess strong experience in API automation using Java or Python, with a preference for Rest Assured. Proficiency in manual API testing with Postman is essential, alongside a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with UI automation using Selenium and knowledge of Microservices testing principles are advantageous. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka, as well as prior exposure to the Payments or Cards domain, would be beneficial.
