Seeking a seasoned Technical Specialist in Data Engineering with over 6 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development and production support. This role involves comprehensive engagement across the solution lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to implementation and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders to foster strong relationships and leveraging the broader Ab Initio tool suite, including its latest versions like Co>Op, EME, Continuous Flows, and Control Center. Proficiency in Conduct>IT and advanced Ab Initio components is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Ab Initio's Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and its core components, along with robust experience in EME for version control, dependency analysis, and command-line operations. Expertise in various parallelism techniques and constructing Ab Initio graphs for diverse scenarios is also a requirement.

Develop and maintain complex ETL jobs using Ab Initio, focusing on automation and performance optimization. Implement design patterns and create Unix wrapper scripts for intricate transformation logic. Manage and troubleshoot production incidents, providing timely root cause analysis (RCA). Collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and build strong partnerships. Participate actively in agile project development lifecycles, including story estimation and grooming. Guide and mentor junior team members on Ab Initio technologies and support best practices. Ensure successful installation and scheduling of jobs utilizing the latest Control Center version.

A minimum of 6 years of experience in Ab Initio ETL Development and Production support. Demonstrated experience across the full Solution Life Cycle, including requirements, estimation, design, development, reviews, UAT, migration, and go-live. Extensive familiarity with the Ab Initio tool suite, including Co>Op, EME, Continuous Flows, and Control Center. Strong command of Ab Initio's Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and its various components. Proficiency in EME for version control, dependency analysis, and air/sandbox commands. Experience with Ab Initio parallelism techniques (Data, Pipeline, Component). Hands-on experience with job installation and scheduling via the latest Control Center. Solid understanding of Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading within Data Warehouse environments. Excellent Oracle SQL/PLSQL and strong Shell scripting skills are mandatory. Proven ability to work in an agile project development environment. Experience in production support, incident handling, and RCA is crucial.
