This role focuses on managing and enhancing an organization's vulnerability management program to ensure swift identification, triage, tracking, and remediation of security vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with global teams to drive remediation initiatives and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved effectively. A key aspect involves analyzing various vulnerability scanning reports, validating findings, and documenting progress.
You will act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, providing clear guidance on vulnerabilities, their impact, and remediation strategies to uphold information security standards. The position requires developing comprehensive reports, out briefs, and scorecards that detail risks, vulnerabilities, and organizational progress, offering regular updates to senior management on program status and critical issues.
- Oversee and execute the Vulnerability Management Program, focusing on prompt identification, triaging, tracking, and remediation of organizational vulnerabilities. - Partner with global, cross-functional teams to spearhead remediation programs and ensure complete vulnerability closure. - Analyze diverse vulnerability scanning reports, assessing and validating identified vulnerabilities. - Maintain accurate documentation, tracking, and resolution of all organizational vulnerabilities. - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the Infosec team to address reported vulnerabilities and facilitate timely remediation or secure approved exceptions. - Provide expert advice to stakeholders and technical teams regarding vulnerability criticality, impact, and remediation requirements to meet security standards. - Create detailed remediation reports, out briefs, and scorecards to illustrate risk, vulnerability status, and program advancement. - Deliver regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the vulnerability management program's progress, remediation efforts, and urgent vulnerability needs. - Contribute to the management of all other Security, Risk & Compliance initiatives within the organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Vulnerability Management Program. - Proven expertise in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk/Vulnerability Analysis or Management, or related disciplines. - Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, tools, best practices, and validation/triaging techniques. - Hands-on experience with enterprise vulnerability scanning solutions such as Qualys, Nexus IQ, Fortify, Key-light, Datamart/Power BI, and Splunk. - Experience managing vulnerabilities within containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and major cloud environments (AWS, Azure). - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards like PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP Top 10, and Critical Security Controls. - Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Vulnerability Management, including automation, dashboards, reporting, and workflow integration. - Basic knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities and their application in vulnerability analysis, prioritization, reporting, and automation. - Practical experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot for scripting, data analysis, and process automation. - Exposure to AI agents/workflows for automating vulnerability triage, enrichment, tracking, and reporting. - Basic ability to develop or utilize AI-powered agents and automation, Python scripting for cybersecurity or Vulnerability Management use cases is a significant advantage. - Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.
