We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise applications. This role focuses on integrating traditional Java backend systems with modern Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI models, vector databases, and autonomous AI agents for next-generation product features.

Develop and optimize high-throughput Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and ML models using Java-native AI frameworks. Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI patterns, connecting AI with enterprise data and external APIs. Architect and manage data solutions across relational and vector databases. Contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and enforce clean code standards. Utilize AI coding assistants to enhance coding efficiency.

Requires 5 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend development focus. Proficiency in AI and ML, Large Language Models, and OpenAI is mandatory. Experience with Bedrock is also required. Familiarity with Spring AI, LangChain4j, RAG, vector databases (Pinecone, Elasticsearch), and SQL is essential. Skills in software design, configuration, and quality assurance are valued.
