As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will manage complex customer issues and provide essential Level 2 support to fellow support teams. Your role involves troubleshooting technical problems through debugging, networking, and system administration. You'll contribute to product enhancements, tool improvements, process optimization, and documentation updates to enhance user adoption and ease of use.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products, developing deep product knowledge, and acting as a subject matter expert for internal teams. You will also collaborate with product engineering to improve the supportability of Google Cloud networking technologies and gather insights from customer issues to drive product evolution.

We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting technical issues and advocating for customer needs. Proficiency in a common scripting or coding language like Python or shell scripting is essential.

Candidates should possess strong systems experience with operating systems such as Linux or Unix. Familiarity with operating system kernels, file systems, and core TCP/IP networking protocols, including DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing concepts, is also required. Excellent English communication skills are necessary for interacting with regional customers and stakeholders.
