Engage with Google Play's premier advertising clients and product partners as a Technical Solutions Consultant. You will spearhead collaborative efforts across Engineering, Sales, and Product Management teams, harnessing cutting-edge technologies to benefit our external partners. Your role will encompass the full technical lifecycle, from initial concept and rigorous testing to detailed data analysis and ongoing support, ensuring the seamless technical execution and operational success of Google's online advertising platforms and strategic product partnerships.

This position requires a dynamic individual capable of harmonizing business objectives and partner requirements with technical feasibility. You will be instrumental in devising innovative, forward-thinking solutions and will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to those you collaborate with. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of automation tools, manage the technical delivery and business operations of Google's partnerships, and shape product strategy through effective prioritization of projects and resources.

Cultivate a deep understanding of Google Play's product suite and underlying architectures by diligently troubleshooting, replicating, and identifying the root causes of developer-reported issues. Develop specialized tools to expedite diagnostic processes.

Advance your product expertise, focusing on one or more core components and their interdependencies with other products and teams. Collaborate closely with external developers, deriving valuable insights, producing clear written guidance, crafting sample code, authoring informative blog posts, designing APIs, and proposing product enhancements.

Guide developers in adopting high-quality Play features and services. Act as a pivotal consultant and subject matter expert for internal engineering, sales, and developer relations teams, effectively resolving technical integration challenges.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is the minimum educational requirement.

Demonstrate at least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting APIs. Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and experience with Google Cloud are essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in fields such as Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science. Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams, as well as with developers and developer communities, is highly valued. Familiarity with C# (Unity)/C++ (Unreal) and a working knowledge of customer support processes and tooling would be advantageous.
