Join Google Play as a Technical Solutions Consultant, bridging the gap between our largest advertising clients and product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage cutting-edge technologies for external partners. This role involves overseeing technical execution and business operations for Google's online advertising platforms and product partnerships, from initial concept design and testing to data analysis and ongoing support.

This position requires a dynamic individual who can expertly balance business needs and technical limitations. You will be instrumental in developing innovative, state-of-the-art solutions, serving as a trusted partner and consultant to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include building tools, automating products, managing the technical execution of partnerships, and contributing to product strategy and resource prioritization.

Deepen your expertise in Google Play's products and architectures by diagnosing and resolving developer-reported issues, and developing tools to expedite problem-solving. Cultivate advanced product knowledge, specializing in specific components and their interdependencies. Engage with external developers to gather insights, provide written guidance, develop sample code, author blog posts, design APIs, and suggest product enhancements.

Drive the adoption of high-quality Play features and services through collaborative work with developers. Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for internal Engineering, Sales, and Developer organizations, effectively resolving technical integration challenges.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is essential. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in developing and troubleshooting APIs, along with hands-on experience using Java/Kotlin and Google Cloud.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science, or a related field. Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams, engaging with developer communities, and familiarity with C# (Unity)/C++ (Unreal) are highly valued. A working knowledge of customer support processes and tooling would also be beneficial.
