Key responsibilities include designing, administering, and supporting Active Directory Domain Services, managing domain controllers, forests, and related services. You will troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects, FSMO roles, and authentication protocols. This role involves advanced L3 troubleshooting for complex escalations, including replication, authentication, and availability issues, along with performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents. Security and hardening of Active Directory configurations are crucial, requiring a review of privileged groups, permissions, and access controls. Collaboration with teams on hybrid identity integrations and directory dependencies for enterprise applications is also a core part of the role.

We are looking for expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services and enterprise Windows Server environments. Strong expertise in AD replication, DNS, Group Policy, FSMO roles, Global Catalog, trusts, and Sites and Services is essential. Advanced troubleshooting skills for Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, secure channels, authentication, authorization, and account lockouts are required. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is necessary. A strong understanding of Active Directory security, delegation, ACLs, service accounts, and gMSA is important. Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes is also expected. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity integration is desirable.
