This position requires a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, system integration, and the telecom technology landscape. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering groups, to ensure successful solution design and delivery. Ownership of solutions from inception through to operational transition is key to success.

You will be the driving force behind end-to-end solution architecture for new initiatives and transformation programs. This involves translating business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs that encompass applications, integrations, APIs, data flows, and infrastructure. You will define architectural standards, integration patterns, and technology choices, ensuring alignment with enterprise principles and security protocols. Furthermore, you will assess solution options, identify technical risks, and provide expert guidance throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, from design through to production.

A key aspect of this role involves architecting solutions within a complex telecom ecosystem, including BSS/OSS, CRM, Order Management, and Billing systems. Designing integrations between various customer-facing and backend systems using modern patterns like APIs and event-driven architecture is essential. You will also ensure that solutions meet stringent requirements for high availability, performance, scalability, and resilience.

Your leadership will extend to delivery and technical governance, where you will review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure adherence to standards. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve complex issues and support technical planning and estimation. Ensuring non-functional requirements are integrated into solutions and maintaining architecture documentation are also core responsibilities.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with typically 10+ years of IT experience, including substantial time spent in Solution Architecture or a similar senior technical capacity. Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale, integrated solutions, particularly within the Telecommunications industry, is crucial.

A strong grasp of telecom BSS/OSS architecture and business processes is required, alongside a deep understanding of CRM, Order Management, Billing, Product Catalogue, Provisioning, Service Assurance, and Digital Platforms. Expertise in system integration architecture, including REST APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, and middleware, is essential. Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures, preferably involving AWS, along with knowledge of database and data architecture, is highly valued.

Candidates should possess a robust understanding of enterprise security principles and have experience defining and validating non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, and scalability. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is expected, as are strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work effectively across diverse teams and technology vendors is paramount.
