Job description

Spearhead the technical services for India, defining an ambitious operational direction, strategic roadmap, and performance goals for core building and campus infrastructure. This includes high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems, mechanical systems, utility management, technology integrations, and building management systems across commercial offices and labs.

Lead an ecosystem of outsourced service providers, technical consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional infrastructure performance. As the single point of accountability for your programs, cultivate strong supplier partnerships to enhance the daily experience of building occupants, minimize infrastructure-related disruptions, and support a holistic workplace environment that promotes collaboration, productivity, and well-being.

Leverage deep operational leadership and strong technical acumen to drive infrastructure reliability, efficiency, and AI integration. Focus on an AI-native agenda to improve infrastructure management, lead strategic supplier relationships, utilize data-driven insights for performance management, and provide financial and creative leadership to ensure systems scale with Google's growth. The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team is dedicated to creating inspiring spaces and innovative services that embody Google's culture and values, managing all aspects of our global workspaces.

Responsibilities

Establish long-term operational roadmaps, performance targets, and design standards for supplier facility teams and technical consultants across critical infrastructure.

Direct utility agreements, solar interconnects, and vendor partnerships, implementing innovative agreement structures, performance metrics, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Partner with matrixed regional pillars to deliver scalable infrastructure support for research labs, data centers, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging, and office portfolios.

Drive system resilience, 100% business uptime, and smart building analytics while executing industry-leading LEED benchmarks and occupant wellness goals.

Leverage AI-powered maintenance intelligence across critical electrical assets to maximize asset lifecycles, capture utility incentives, and enforce budget efficiency.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Possess 15 years of experience managing critical facilities or technical infrastructure operations, including comprehensive budget management and team leadership.

Demonstrated experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) controls and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Proven experience in commissioning HVAC and mechanical distribution systems, including air and water side systems.

Experience in procurement and negotiation with vendors, including managed service delivery.
