We engineer the technology behind Amazon's physical grocery stores and develop essential in-store tools for our team members. This role is crucial for coordinating complex, cross-organizational projects to deliver impactful solutions that enhance team member efficiency and optimize our grocery network operations.
Drive planning, execution, and delivery of intricate technical programs across multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders. Define program scope, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with leadership. Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers to ensure programs remain on track. Foster alignment among distributed teams to guarantee technical solutions effectively support in-store team members. Develop executive-level communications and program roadmaps.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system architecture, technical constraints, and integration points. Establish and refine scalable program management processes. Champion continuous improvement through post-launch metrics tracking and retrospectives.
A minimum of 5 years in technical product or program management is essential. Additionally, 7+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams is required. A solid foundation in software development with at least 3 years of experience is necessary.
Extensive experience in technical program management, specifically collaborating directly with software engineering teams, for 5+ years is a must. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is required. Experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management, is highly desirable.
