This role offers direct engagement with security teams and Amazon builders, providing essential front-line support and security expertise. You will be challenged to leverage your technical product ownership, process development, operational, and management skills. Lead all project phases from planning to successful delivery, defining success criteria, managing governance, schedules, team goals, and communication. Collaborate with senior leaders, development teams, and security engineers to understand needs and improve security. Architect and manage scope of work documents, ensuring accountability and escalating as needed.

Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, advocating for customer security goals. Guide the evolution of internal security support solutions, prioritizing high-impact work for Amazon builders. Utilize software system design knowledge for architecture scoping, threat model reviews, and guiding remediation efforts.

Define and implement best practices for scaling security guidance and builder support. Create and deliver business proposals and metrics for security leadership. Proactively manage program risks, identify solutions, and escalate issues. Make sound decisions in dynamic environments and influence without direct reports. Foster a positive work environment through active listening and encouraging diverse perspectives.

We seek individuals with at least 3 years of technical product or program management experience. A strong foundation in project management, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management, is essential. Experience managing cross-functional programs, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules is required.

Additionally, a minimum of 5 years working directly with engineering teams is necessary. While not strictly required, experience collaborating with security teams is a significant advantage.
