Leverage profound knowledge of network fundamentals to identify critical paths, expertly manage complex customer requirements, and co-create customized solutions alongside Technical Account Managers, Customer Engineers, and Product Managers. Take ownership of the execution window, accurately capturing large agreement requirements and navigating intricate network lead times. Develop and enhance forecasting models utilizing machine learning and AI to boost predictive accuracy, automate anomaly detection processes, and simulate various capacity scenarios. Proactively mitigate supply shortages, maintain optimal inventory levels, manage policy-based buffers, and meticulously plan for significant peak traffic events. Collaborate extensively to build AI-assisted automation for ordering and resource fulfillment, concurrently designing key metrics to meticulously track fleet efficiency and demand attainment across the network.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management is essential, alongside 5 years of experience in designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects. Proven experience in creating detailed infrastructure designs, including telecom, electrical, and mechanical aspects, as well as drawing sets for builds and remodels of data center networking spaces, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience partnering with Data Science teams or directly applying machine learning and AI methodologies to scale forecasting models, automate anomaly detection, and simulate capacity scenarios. Experience in network capacity planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply-demand matching is highly advantageous. Proficiency in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, and data tools such as SQL and spreadsheet software is expected for synthesizing complex capacity metrics and performance loops. A strong foundational understanding of network infrastructure concepts, including network routing, peering, cache infrastructure (CDN), or capacity placement, is also beneficial.
