Join a team driving critical fiber infrastructure projects, ensuring global connectivity and digital transformation. This role focuses on leading complex technical programs within Google Cloud's expansive network, contributing to solutions that empower businesses worldwide.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your expertise to guide projects from conception to completion. This involves meticulous planning, risk assessment, schedule management, and clear communication with diverse teams across the organization. You'll be adept at presenting complex analyses to leadership and discussing technical intricacies with engineering teams.

Spearhead the daily execution of the network asset schedule in India, prioritizing key business goals and capacity needs. Deeply understand Google's network architecture standards.

Proactively identify and resolve significant roadblocks, including supply chain issues, shifting priorities, and resource limitations across functional groups. Develop detailed design specifications and Statements of Work (SOW) for both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) network infrastructure and optical cabling.

Foster strong alignment among cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders. Provide regular updates on progress, potential risks, and proposed mitigation strategies to both executive leadership and technical engineering teams.

Ensure the accuracy of network delivery data across all systems to facilitate informed decision-making. Analyze workflow efficiencies and implement improvements through continuous refinement practices, such as retrospectives, to boost delivery speed and predictability.

Occasional travel up to 25% is expected, primarily to Google’s Data Centers and infrastructure sites.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or a comparable practical work history is required.

Minimum of two years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on designing, constructing, or overseeing physical infrastructure projects. This includes prior experience in ISP/OSP Network Architecture, Data Center Operations, and Fiber Optics.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Data Center Program Management and a proven ability to create detailed infrastructure designs and drawing sets for production data center networking environments. Familiarity with fiber optic network design and deployment (OSP) and data center infrastructure (ISP) is also advantageous.
