As part of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Google employees, managing incidents, and anticipating threats. You'll help foster a culture where safety and security are integral to all aspects of Google's operations and creative processes.

This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and evaluating enterprise risks that could impact business activities, providing essential information to business leaders for critical decision-making. You will collaborate across diverse teams to devise innovative strategies and develop exceptional programs for sustainable effectiveness. Your efforts will be instrumental in enhancing Google’s global capacity to anticipate, deter, detect, and act on security risks, specifically driving the delivery of physical security technology solutions within GSRS.

You will partner internally to prototype and develop solutions on accelerated timelines, meeting stakeholder requirements. This includes owning the end-to-end delivery and support of these solutions throughout their lifecycle, ultimately enabling GSRS operations to ensure the safety and security of Google and its employees worldwide.

Analyze operational processes and business requirements, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap, new, or existing products. Focus on accessibility, scalable growth, automation, and business outcomes that effectively mitigate key risks.

Deliver technology solutions aligned with strategic plans through tactical execution. This involves gathering requirements, developing user stories, conducting lab testing, and creating comprehensive project, rollout, and communication plans. Support the evaluation, integration, and implementation of third-party solutions.

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, peers, and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security, contributing to shared business goals and objectives.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed solutions, actively gathering feedback to iterate and enhance user experience and overall outcomes.

Handle highly confidential information with utmost care and safeguard the company's intellectual property.

Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, coupled with 7 years of experience in security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling. Additionally, have 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.

Demonstrate 5 years of experience in coding with one or more general-purpose programming languages. You should also have at least 1 year of experience leading technical teams or conducting technical risk analysis within an enterprise environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience with physical access control, intrusion detection, case management, video management, Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), IT networking, construction/architecture, and no-code development platforms. Experience in technology delivery and design within Physical/Cyber Security industries, holding certifications like PSP, CPP, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA is highly valued.

Candidates should be adept at aligning diverse teams (operational, engineering, product, UX) and possess the ability to navigate competing priorities, articulate complex ideas clearly, and build strong stakeholder partnerships. Leading projects through informal authority, managing priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and subsequent monitoring is essential.
