Join Google's Security team to craft and maintain a secure operating environment for our users and developers. This role involves actively monitoring systems for threats and vulnerabilities, and collaborating with software engineers to proactively address security flaws. You will be integral to Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS), ensuring Google employees' safety during disruptive incidents and crises.

Drive the delivery of physical security technology solutions within the Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) organization. Collaborate internally to prototype and develop solutions within accelerated timelines, managing the full end-to-end lifecycle from concept to support. Your work will ensure the safety and security of Google and its employees across all global office locations.
Key responsibilities include analyzing operational processes and business requirements to align with technology roadmaps, focusing on accessibility, scalable growth, automation, and risk mitigation. Deliver technology solutions through tactical activities such as requirement gathering, developing user stories, lab testing, and creating project and communication plans. Support the evaluation, integration, and implementation of third-party solutions.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship in physical security to junior colleagues, peers, and stakeholders, driving shared business goals. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of deployed solutions, incorporating feedback to enhance user experience and outcomes. Safely manage highly confidential information and protect company intellectual property.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates should possess 7 years of experience in security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling. Additionally, 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols is necessary.
We are looking for individuals with 5 years of experience in coding across general-purpose languages and at least 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or managing technical risk analysis within an enterprise setting. Preferred qualifications include experience with physical access control, intrusion detection, case management, video management systems, PSIM, IT networking, construction/architecture, and no-code development platforms.
