Lead and define the scope of large-scale programs that span multiple engineering disciplines. Co-develop strategic roadmaps, organizational goals, and key success metrics.

Conduct thorough technical assessments to evaluate engineering scope, define project milestones, establish realistic timeframes, and determine necessary resourcing. Apply technical judgment comparable to that of a practicing Software Engineer in the infrastructure domain.

Proactively identify, anticipate, and manage program risks, critical deliverables, and interdependencies across various Search Platforms and partner teams. Implement mechanisms to enhance governance and streamline information flow.

Drive ongoing optimizations in operational cadence, tooling, and communication practices. Focus on minimizing process friction to foster development velocity and maintain high quality standards.

Champion alignment across diverse teams with potentially conflicting objectives. Influence cross-functional peers, building consensus on technical directions and prioritizing features within defined constraints.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading technical program management initiatives and successfully delivering infrastructure solutions.

Preferred candidates will possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

We are looking for 8 years of dedicated experience specifically within a technical program manager role.

Exhibit deep domain expertise in backend infrastructure, distributed systems, evaluation systems, or testing frameworks.

Show experience with or a strong interest in utilizing modern AI/ML capabilities, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic workflows to enhance Technical Program Manager (TPM) functions. This includes areas such as automated dependency tracking, predictive risk modeling, and operational streamlining.

Possess a proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional alignment, managing distributed teams across various time zones, and adeptly prioritizing complex workstreams in ambiguous environments.
