The Payments team at Google focuses on delivering simple, seamless, and secure payment experiences, whether through online Autofill, in-store tap and pay, or the Google Pay app. We also manage the financial flows between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Lead and oversee the complete delivery of intricate, cross-functional technical programs vital to Google Pay India's strategic objectives. These include everyday utility payments, new feature introductions, platform modernization, and partner ecosystem integrations.

Define program scope, objectives, and key results (OKRs), transforming ambiguous challenges into well-defined plans, milestones, and deliverables.

Drive program execution by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, managing dependencies, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

Champion the adoption of agent-based AI tools and autonomous workflows within technical program management to automate routine tasks and improve predictive risk mitigation.

Utilize strong technical judgment to grasp engineering challenges, contribute to design discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and guide technical decision-making.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is required, along with a minimum of 5 years in technical program management.

Experience is essential in managing consumer-facing mobile applications and high-volume transactional/utility products within the FinTech, Payments, or Commerce sectors.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in applying modern AI/ML tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agent-based automation to enhance technical program management practices, such as autonomous dependency tracking and predictive risk analysis. Familiarity with distributed team collaboration, understanding the Indian digital payments landscape (including UPI, Bharat Connect, RBI, and NPCI regulations), and experience with market players are also highly valued.
