You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working with stakeholders to define requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and ensure clear communication across diverse teams.

The Payments team focuses on making payments simple, seamless, and secure, powering everything from peer-to-peer transfers to in-store purchases. You'll contribute to products that create opportunities for everyone, both locally and globally.

Lead and own the complete delivery of critical technical programs for Google Pay India, including utility payments, new features, platform upgrades, and partner integrations.

Define program scope, objectives, and key results, transforming complex challenges into actionable plans with clear milestones.

Drive program execution by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

Champion the integration of AI tools and autonomous workflows into program management for automated operations and enhanced risk mitigation.

Apply strong technical judgment to understand engineering challenges, contribute to design discussions, and guide technical decisions effectively.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in technical program management.

Experience with consumer-facing mobile applications and high-frequency transactional/utility products within FinTech, Payments, or Commerce industries is essential.

Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/ML tools, LLMs, and agent-based automation for program management tasks, as well as effective collaboration with distributed Engineering, Product Management, UX, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams.

Understanding of the India digital payments ecosystem, including UPI, Bharat Connect, and regulatory bodies like RBI and NPCI, is highly beneficial.
