As a Technical Program Manager, you will spearhead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, meticulously planning requirements, identifying potential risks, and managing project timelines. Your role involves clear communication with diverse teams across the company, adeptly presenting technical analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing product development trade-offs with engineers.

The Geo team powers essential products like Maps, Earth, Street View, and the Google Maps Platform, relied upon by over a billion users monthly for exploration and daily navigation. We also empower developers with Google Maps Platform capabilities to enhance their applications and websites, tackling intricate computer science challenges and crafting intuitive user experiences to deepen our understanding of the physical world.

Drive in-depth forensic root cause analysis of abuse attacks and develop processes to enhance the effectiveness of incident investigations.

Generate comprehensive reports and communications to guide partner teams in formulating robust mitigation plans.

Lead risk mitigation programs for critical events, including elections and periods of social unrest.

Collaborate with engineering teams to cultivate deep subject matter expertise regarding system vulnerabilities.

Serve as an Incident Manager to effectively contain abuse attacks and unplanned events.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is required.

Minimum of two years of experience in program management is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include two years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Experience in Cyber Security, Crisis and Reputation Management, or Cyber Threat Intelligence is highly desirable.
