As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead end-to-end project identification, scoping, and delivery. You will adeptly navigate ambiguity and work across different time zones to build consensus and drive teams toward successful outcomes. Anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks, manage escalations effectively, and skillfully balance business needs with technical limitations.
Key responsibilities include unblocking technical issues by orchestrating multi-functional expertise, developing and communicating project schedules, and driving project execution. You will craft project plans, make critical technical trade-offs, manage risks, report on status, and resolve impediments. Establishing clear goals and metrics will be essential for identifying opportunities to deliver customer solutions that meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of software development experience is required, alongside 3+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. Proven experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules is essential.
Further qualifications include experience in building and evaluating system-level technical designs and 3+ years of product management experience. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams, knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards, and familiarity with web services, distributed systems, and web application development. The ability to work proactively, independently, meet deadlines, and deliver projects successfully is paramount.
