Join Google's Geo team as a Technical Program Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mapping. You will leverage your technical acumen to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion. This role involves deep collaboration with stakeholders, meticulous planning, risk assessment, schedule management, and clear communication across diverse teams. You will be adept at articulating analyses and recommendations to executives while also engaging in technical trade-offs with engineering teams.

The Geo team is dedicated to creating the most accurate and comprehensive mapping experiences for billions of users worldwide through products like Maps, Earth, and Street View. We empower developers to integrate Google Maps’ capabilities into their applications, tackling challenging computer science problems and designing intuitive user experiences.

Architect and implement cutting-edge operational solutions using Generative AI to boost moderation, scalability, and overall efficiency. Design and deploy assertion-based expert workflows for emerging FMR vectors.

Serve as the central point of contact for global regulatory workflows, ensuring strict adherence to mandates such as the DSA and CMA.

Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful launch, fostering close collaboration with cross-functional Engineering and Product teams.

Actively monitor program metrics and identify potential risks, providing clear and timely updates on progress and performance to senior leadership. Establish and lead project execution teams, both in-house and outsourced, utilizing Google's internal tools and products to drive automation and enhance operational effectiveness.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management is essential.

Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and the implementation of Generative AI-driven moderation frameworks to improve operational scalability. A proven history of successfully planning, organizing, and managing risks for high-impact, cross-functional programs is highly valued. The ability to effectively utilize data analysis tools to drive focused insights and performance enhancements is also sought after. Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to influence stakeholders across peer Program Managers, Engineering leads, and senior leadership, even without direct authority, are key.
