This role involves collaborating with a diverse range of partners, customers, and stakeholders to define long-term roadmaps and initiate impactful new programs. You will be instrumental in championing ideas, securing support, and guiding initiatives from conception through to successful completion.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will oversee multiple workstreams, fostering collaboration among engineering teams and setting the pace for the development, deployment, and delivery of critical data center services and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will extend to creating comprehensive project documentation, process maps, compelling presentations, and detailed tracking reports to ensure clear and up-to-date project status communication.
Shape strategic plans and long-term objectives by partnering with stakeholders, customers, and external partners. Initiate and champion new programs, steering them through the entire execution lifecycle.
Lead and manage diverse project portfolios, empowering engineering teams and establishing delivery timelines for data center services and infrastructure. Develop and maintain essential project artifacts, including process maps, presentations, and status reports.
Apply technical acumen to drive project progress, conduct technology assessments, critically evaluate proposals, and build consensus. Analyze performance data from services and systems, translating insights into actionable recommendations and robust plans. Act as a primary escalation point for external collaborators and orchestrate efforts across internal teams.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, and take ownership of project deliverables.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required, complemented by a minimum of 8 years in program or project management. Experience in data center construction, fit-out, and services programs is highly valued.
Candidates should possess proven expertise in managing data center infrastructure and fit-out projects, along with experience in partner and stakeholder management. Proficiency with vendor management and project management tools is essential.
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial, requiring the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and navigate ambiguity. A solid understanding of greenfield civil construction, permitting, statutory requirements, and local industry standards is beneficial. Familiarity with financial principles as they apply to project and program management is also expected.
