As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead intricate, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. You'll leverage your technical acumen to define project requirements with internal stakeholders and guide projects through their entire lifecycle. This involves meticulous schedule management, proactive risk identification, and clear communication with all project stakeholders. You'll be adept at discussing technical trade-offs with engineers and presenting analyses to executive leadership.

Define the strategic vision and objectives for your programs. Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring seamless coordination and robust governance frameworks. Drive consistency across Cloud processes and central platforms, enhancing team communication and visibility.

Facilitate effective execution across diverse teams, ensuring timely delivery of the full spectrum of Cloud products and solutions. Collaborate with engineering directors, product leaders, and other TPM groups to optimize processes, manage objectives, and implement tooling for enhanced efficiency. Contribute to key initiatives within Cloud Storage, Data Cloud, and the broader Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technical program management community.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience is required. You should possess at least 5 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on designing, constructing, or managing complex projects.

Preferred qualifications include experience in software-focused program/project management within the business technology sector. A strong understanding of distributed software applications and the ability to rapidly acquire new technical knowledge are essential. You must be skilled at building rapport with both technical and non-technical team members, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully managing technical programs from inception to launch. A customer-centric approach, dedicated to fostering an execution process that delivers continuous value, is also highly valued. The ability to forge strong relationships across departments, product areas, and organizational structures is crucial for success in this role.
