Drive the development of foundational core capabilities within Amazon Freight's new tech organization. This involves leading initiatives across shipment execution, including quoting, booking, carrier/driver workflows, and shipper signals. You will also oversee trailer operations, equipment assignment, and quality assurance.

Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to scheduling and optimization, encompassing shipper scheduling workflows and cost-optimal demand shaping. You will also be involved in cost, demand, and volume planning, including cost prediction and forecasting. Your role will require influencing cross-functional partners and building innovative supply chain capabilities.

We are seeking experienced professionals with a minimum of 5 years in technical program management and 7 years of direct collaboration with engineering teams. A background of at least 3 years in software development is essential.

Furthermore, you should have extensive experience (5+ years) in technical program management directly engaging with software engineering teams. Proven ability to manage programs across various cross-functional teams, establish robust processes, and coordinate release schedules is critical. Candidates must demonstrate strong business judgment, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and the capacity to make data-driven decisions in complex situations. Experience translating intricate transportation economics into scalable network execution strategies is highly valued.
