Drive innovation in AI data as a Technical Program Manager at Google. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, identify risks, and manage timelines.

This role is integral to the ML Data organization, established to enhance ML data operations, governance, and responsible practices across Google. You will work closely with teams like Cloud, Core, Google DeepMind, Google Research, and others, contributing to critical paths for major LLM launches.

The Cloud Applied AI (AAI) team, powering business growth with Gemini Enterprise, offers a dynamic environment. You’ll collaborate directly with model builders, accelerating the deployment of new capabilities with startup agility and shaping the future of AI.

- Lead critical programs focused on tamper-proof data lineage, transparent approvals, and secure storage. - Drive programs related to safety risk evaluation and efficient data acquisition. - Partner with engineering, product management, and other teams to establish workstreams, requirements, schedules, resources, and milestones. - Provide clear and concise project status updates to diverse audiences, including cross-functional partners and executive leadership. - Champion feature planning and foster alignment among all stakeholders. - Leverage technical expertise to enhance project efficiency and provide thought leadership.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is required, along with a minimum of 5 years in program management.

Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, alongside expertise in large-scale data management.

Familiarity with quantitative analysis, cost-effectiveness assessment techniques, and the nuances of AI model training, testing, evaluation, and tuning processes is highly beneficial. A strong understanding of data quality metrics and KPIs for AI products is also desirable.
