Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within its Global Network Acquisition (GNA) APAC team. This role is crucial for ensuring Google's production networks in Asia can support current and future product growth efficiently and on time. The team is responsible for securing and building essential network infrastructure across various Asian countries, including colocation space, metro fiber, long haul networks, and submarine capacity.

Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to define strategic and tactical initiatives for Google's network infrastructure in Asia, focusing on expansion and cost optimization.
Present comprehensive network plans to internal stakeholders for approval, managing projects ranging from short-term augments to long-term regional strategies.
Oversee the execution of approved network plans with internal contributors and vendor managers, ensuring timely delivery of infrastructure.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes, enabling automation, reducing lead times, and effectively managing changes. Communicate progress internally and coordinate with network deployment teams.
Assist network negotiators in planning and executing orders and contracts, and actively participate in vendor meetings and industry conferences.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management is essential.
Preferred qualifications include strong program management experience in networking, with a proven track record of delivering infrastructure assets and managing vendors. Solid knowledge of fiber optic systems, submarine cable ecosystems, and Asian/global carrier networks is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to apply business and technical understanding to drive organizational objectives, coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, is expected. Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and identifying optimization opportunities is also key.
