Drive critical technical program management initiatives for Google's network infrastructure across Asia. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion, ensuring our network supports the growth of existing and new products and services efficiently.

You will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, define project requirements, identify potential risks, manage schedules, and maintain clear communication channels with cross-functional teams. Your ability to articulate technical trade-offs to engineers and present analyses to executives will be key to success.

Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional technical networking teams to define strategic initiatives for Google's network infrastructure in Asia, focusing on expansion and cost optimization.

Present network plans for stakeholder approval, encompassing both short-term metro upgrades and long-term region-wide strategies.

Manage approved network plans, coordinating with internal contributors and vendor delivery managers to ensure timely infrastructure delivery.

Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes, enabling automation, reducing lead times, and effectively managing changes. Communicate progress internally and liaise with network deployment and other technical teams.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management.

Strong program management experience specifically within the networking domain, including delivering infrastructure assets and vendor management.

Solid understanding of fiber optic systems and submarine cable ecosystems, coupled with a working knowledge of Asian and global carrier networks.

Ability to apply business and technical acumen to advance the organization's long-term objectives. Possess strong problem-solving, financial skills, and an analytical approach to tackle complex challenges. Adept at navigating ambiguity and identifying optimization opportunities.
