We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Architect with over 12 years of experience to spearhead the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of our enterprise-level DevOps and Data Platform infrastructure.
This pivotal role involves architecting robust CI/CD frameworks, managing containerized deployments, and building secure, cloud-native environments. You will also oversee enterprise data operations, leveraging technologies like Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of DevOps principles, extensive experience with data platforms, and a strategic approach to security-first architecture.
Key responsibilities include defining and implementing enterprise-wide DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices. You will design highly scalable and resilient CI/CD frameworks utilizing Jenkins, and provide essential technical leadership, governance, and mentorship to both DevOps and Data Engineering teams.
Architecting and managing containerized workloads with Kubernetes is crucial, including designing multi-namespace, multi-environment, HA, and auto-scaling Kubernetes cluster strategies. This also involves optimizing container orchestration for Airflow and related data services.
Furthermore, you will architect and govern DBT transformation layers, implementing staging, intermediate, and data mart models. This includes developing incremental models, snapshot strategies for historical tracking, and surrogate key management, alongside establishing rigorous standards for testing, lineage, and observability in data pipelines.
You will lead Snowflake platform administration, focusing on role-based access control (RBAC) and secure data sharing. Additionally, responsibilities encompass architecting and managing the SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including automation for rotation and renewal, and ensuring secure endpoint configurations.
Ensuring secure communication across services, APIs, and data platforms is paramount. You will enforce encryption standards for data both at rest and in transit, and collaborate closely with InfoSec teams to uphold enterprise compliance requirements.
The role demands a minimum of 12 years of experience in Data Engineering and Enterprise Data Platforms.
Essential hands-on expertise includes: - Jenkins (Pipeline as Code, shared libraries, distributed builds) - Kubernetes (cluster architecture, scaling, security) - Data coves (DBT + Airflow orchestration)
A strong foundation in CI/CD principles, Git branching strategies, and effective release management is also required.
