Seeking an experienced Technical Lead specializing in Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering to manage AWS RDS support. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms and their services to build robust solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation and optimization of our cloud infrastructure.

Manage and support AWS RDS, Aurora, VPC, and IAM services. Ensure the operational excellence of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases. Utilize AWS SCT/DMS for database migration and transformation. Maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, including runbooks and SOPs.

Modify RDS parameters, manage users and access controls, and handle elevated access requests. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues. Provision and configure security components, including key pairs, security groups, ACLs, Directory Service, and Certificate Manager.

Deploy and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Manage Terraform pipelines for resource modifications and cluster adjustments. Monitor cloud services using CloudWatch, Splunk, and New Relic, setting up alarms for key metrics and tracking database health and performance trends.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering is required. Proven expertise with AWS Services, particularly RDS, Aurora, VPC, and IAM. Strong knowledge of database systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle is essential.

Hands-on experience with AWS SCT/DMS services is necessary. Proficiency in maintaining operational documentation such as runbooks and SOPs. Experience in modifying RDS parameters, managing users, access controls, and handling elevated access requests is crucial.

Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis. Experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuring security components like key pairs, security groups, ACLs, IAM, Directory Service, and Certificate Manager. Skilled in provisioning and managing cloud resources using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience managing Terraform pipelines for resource modifications and cluster adjustments. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, and New Relic, including setting up alarms and analyzing performance trends. A deep understanding of IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms is expected.
