Seeking a seasoned Technical Lead specializing in Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering, with a focus on AWS RDS Support. This role requires a deep dive into cloud services, database management, and infrastructure as code. You will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance of critical database systems.

This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in a cloud-native environment. You'll leverage your expertise to build robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions, contributing significantly to our technological advancements.

Manage and maintain AWS RDS instances, including Aurora, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Implement and manage database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, with a focus on AWS environments.

Utilize AWS SCT and DMS services for database migration and modernization projects.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Modify RDS parameters, manage user access controls, and handle elevated access requests securely.

Provision and configure cloud infrastructure, including security components like key pairs, security groups, ACLs, and certificate management.

Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for resource provisioning and management.

Manage Terraform pipelines for infrastructure modifications and cluster adjustments.

Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, Splunk, and New Relic, setting up alarms and tracking performance trends.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering.

Proven expertise with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, VPC, and IAM.

Extensive experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.

Hands-on experience with AWS SCT/DMS for database-related tasks.

Demonstrated ability in maintaining operational documentation and standard procedures.

Proficiency in modifying RDS parameters, managing security, and handling access controls.

Strong understanding of infrastructure provisioning, security component configuration, and cloud resource management using IaC tools.

Experience in monitoring cloud resources and setting up performance-related alarms.

Solid grasp of IaaS and PaaS services and their integration for complex solution building.
