Join Birlasoft as a Windchill Migration Consultant and play a key role in executing PLM data migration projects into PTC Windchill. You will work closely with a Migration Architect, contributing to critical data transformation and validation processes.

Execute complex data migrations using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM). Perform comprehensive extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various source systems. Actively participate in rehearsal migrations (RH-1, RH-2, RH-3) and the final production migration.

Support the Migration Architect in detailed source data analysis, object-level validation, and attribute/relationship mapping. Implement intricate transformation logic and SQL scripts according to migration designs. Identify and resolve data quality issues, including duplicates, missing content, and broken relationships.

Execute post-migration validation checks and analyze WBM logs for issue identification. Fix data discrepancies and facilitate re-runs and delta migrations. Provide essential support during production cutover, go-live execution, and hypercare. Assist in knowledge transfer sessions and the creation of vital migration documentation.

Proven experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) for data migration activities. Strong understanding of ETL processes and practical experience. Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and scripting. Ability to perform data analysis, validation, and mapping. Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues. Capability to support migration activities from rehearsals through to production go-live and hypercare. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is often expected for this role. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
