Join NTT DATA, a global technology leader, as a Technical Consultant specializing in ThingWorx 10.x and Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA). This role offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in solution design, development, and delivery within an innovative and forward-thinking organization.

You will play a pivotal role in configuring, developing, integrating, and deploying Smart Connect capabilities, working within an established solution architecture. Your responsibilities will encompass hands-on implementation across a range of areas, including ThingWorx development, SCPA configuration, remote-access solutions, endpoint automation, access governance, enterprise integrations, and identity management.

This position demands the ability to translate user needs and acceptance criteria into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions, prioritizing standard SCPA functionalities and reusable components to minimize customization.

Configure and develop SCPA applications, building blocks, and menus. Create and maintain ThingWorx entities, services, and Mashups. Develop reusable ThingWorx services, UI components, and integration adapters. Implement and validate remote-access capabilities for gateways and endpoints, including session management and file transfer. Develop automated file-watch, ingestion, and processing workflows with robust error handling and monitoring.

Configure access governance, user roles, privileges, and Just-in-Time (JIT) privileged-access workflows. Support authentication and authorization integrations with enterprise identity platforms. Develop and support Unity (Salesforce) synchronization for endpoint master data, including field mappings and reconciliation logic. Integrate SmartConnect with approved identity providers and enterprise platforms.

Create and execute automated and manual test cases, supporting various testing phases. Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization. Develop technical documentation, deployment instructions, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks. Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for relevant teams.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ThingWorx development, configuration, implementation, or production support is required. You should possess 3 to 5 years of practical experience with ThingWorx 9.x/10.x and 3+ years with SCPA or comparable solution-building-block frameworks.

Strong proficiency is needed in ThingWorx Composer, Mashup Builder, Things, Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, Data Shapes, Services, Events, Subscriptions, Permissions, Visibility, and Deployment Packages. Additionally, 3+ years of programming experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and PostgreSQL is essential.

Experience with API integration, data mapping, transformations, and troubleshooting is crucial. Familiarity with RBAC, visibility controls, authentication/authorization integrations, approval workflows, and audit logging is also required. Experience in endpoint automation, file transfer, remote execution, remote access, or connected-product capabilities, along with source control, code reviews, CI/CD, and defect management, will strengthen your application. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills are a must.
